When you take up one view, you see mountains flowing, and when you take up another view, mountains are not flowing.

Our practice is about seeing life as it is. I have sometimes heard of meditation being described as like removing a set of tinted glasses through which one had a coloured view of the world.

The paradox of exerting right effort while sitting with no goal in mind. Here we are on the familiar ground of an apparent Zen paradox: letting go and at the same time exerting some type of effort.
